Mini Quilts to Get You Through Election Night

If you’re like me, your plan tonight is to sit at home in your PJs, drink a glass of wine (I’m going for Rex-Goliath Cabernet Sauvignon), and sew while you watch election results come in. (And maybe I’ll cuddle that cute kitty, too!)

If you need a fast and fun patriotic project to lighten the mood while the news plays in the background, here are my fave picks!

I made these two flag quilts for 4th of July this year. The one of the left is a smaller version of Thimble Blossoms’ Stars and Stripes quilt pattern. I made four blocks at half the size for a mini quilt. The one of the right is a flag block from Cluck Cluck Sew. She has a pillow pattern for the block that is just adorable!

This quilt has been on to-to list for a long time! Oh, Glory! by Deanne Eisenman is a freebie on the AllPeopleQuilt.com website, and is a beautiful table topper.

This Scrappy Flag Quilt Block by Diane Knott is a freebie on Craftsy. Finishing at 8″ square, it’s perfect for combining with other blocks or leaving as a teeny tiny mug rug.

Hope your enjoy some red, white, and blue tonight! 😉

Thanks for joining me for “happy hour,”

Lindsay
