A Birthday Project: Week 1

Here’s what my first week of Year 29 looks like! As part of celebrating a year in my life, I’m making a hexagon to describe each day! (You can read more about this project here.)

Here’s a little description of what each hexagon means (start in the middle, move to the green hexagon and move clockwise):

Day 1: My birthday!

Day 2: Gorgeous fall trees. I’m always struck by the beauty of seasons colliding — green grass and colorful leaves. I snapped a pic of my office view as inspiration!

Day 3: Celebrating our amazing publisher’s 25th work anniversary. I’m honored to be able to work with someone with such a long and successful career.

Day 4: The season premiere of the TV show Riverdale. I’m not one to give away spoilers, so watch the show to reveal the “bang” meaning. 😉

Day 5: Deep cleaning day. We have a cat who loses a lot of hair and I’m very allergic so an occasional hard scrubbing is needed. I cleaned until the house sparkled!

Day 6: My Dad came to town and we hit all the good beer spots for Oktoberfests! I know this picture shows me drinking wine, but this was the only pic I took of the weekend!

Day 7: Rained hard all day and my Dad and I were soaked walking around town exploring.

I’ll update my hexagon progress every week or two! And I’ll be using the hashtag #lindsayhexies29 on Instagram to share pictures.

Thanks for joining me for “happy hour,”
