Here’s what my second week of Year 29 looks like! As part as celebrating a year in my life, I’m making a hexagon to describe each day! (You can read more about this project here.)
Here’s a little description of what each hexagon means (start in the middle, move to the pink hexagon and move clockwise):
Day 8: My Dad was in town and it was chilly, so we snuggled up inside watching football and movies!
Day 9: Without being TMI, I had an OB/GYN appointment.
Day 10: Had a day full of data analysis at work. All the numbers can be dizzying!
Day 11: After a few too many rips and repairs, I wore my fave vintage dress one more time, then cut it up for a hexagon.
Day 12: Enjoyed one of the last nice days of the year by reading outside. I wish the 70-degree temperatures would stay around a little longer!
Day 13: Pulled the garden out. I’ve been letting the herbs grow as long as I can, and am now drying them for tea! I even tried infusing some vodka with rosemary! (P.S. if you want to know my process for drying herbs, read my blog here.)
Day 14: Had a completely normal day of errands, cooking dinner, and Netflix shows with my husband, and treasured it all! Sometimes we forget to show and see love through the basic things.
I’ll update my hexagon progress every week or two! And I’ll be using the hashtag #lindsayhexies29 on Instagram to share pictures.
Thanks for joining me for “happy hour,”
