I’m a month in to my Year 29 Project, and used this weekend to catch up on my hexagons! As part of celebrating a year in my life, I’m making a hexagon to describe each day! (You can read more about this project here.)
Here’s a little description of what each hexagon means (start in the middle, move to the pink hexagon and move clockwise):
Day 15: Finally a sunny day! It’s amazing how better you feel and how much more is can get done when the sun is shining!
Day 16: It’s Quilt Market week — my usual one cup of coffee a day will dramatically increase to help me through!
Day 17: In usual Quilt Market fashion, I got sick. Lots of sleep and medicine.Day 18: Chili cook-off day in the office! It was so fun and delicious!
Day 19: Fave daily Quilt Market find: Terrarium by Elizabeth Hartman for Robert Kaufman Fabrics
Day 20: Fave daily Quilt Market find: Musings by Valori Wells for Robert Kaufman Fabrics
Day 21: Fave daily Quilt Market find: Gleaned by Carolyn Friedlander for Robert Kaufman Fabrics
Day 22: Fave daily Quilt Market find: Evelyn’s Homestead by Betsy Chutchian for Moda Fabrics
Day 23: Fave daily Quilt Market find: Ketan Chips from Banyan Batiks for Northcott Fabrics
Day 24: Halloween!
Day 25: Still super sick and so tired. Went to bed as soon as I got home from work.
Day 26: A Log Cabin Quilt has always been in my quilting bucket list. Today, I started cutting fabrics for my first one!
Day 27: Finished Season 2 of Stranger Things. Static TV seemed like the perfect fit!
Day 28: Already I the Christmas spirit and used my infused rosemary vodka in a cranberry Moscow mule! (Recipe coming soon!)
I’ll update my hexagon progress every week or two! And I’ll be using the hashtag #lindsayhexies29 on Instagram to share pictures.
Thanks for joining me for “happy hour,”
