Exciting news to share: we bought a house! What that means is my to-do lists have gotten longer and my spare time for sewing has gotten shorter. I finally played some catch-up hexagons this weekend (although I’m still a week behind). As part of celebrating a year in my life, I’m making a hexagon to describe each day! (You can read more about this project here.)
Here’s a little description of what each hexagon means (start in the middle, move to the pink hexagon and move clockwise):
Day 127: A huge day of decluttering — less things = adding more room for fun, love, and relaxation.
Day 128: Worked all night on a project that I just had to scratch and throw away.
Day 129: Went to a period party to benefit the Young Women’s Resource Center.
Day 130: Happy Valentine’s Day!
Day 131: Spent the afternoon looking at houses and had some interesting experiences — including waking a woman up in bed.
Day 132: Date night at Star Bar — a local fave!
Day 133: Clear sky and sun today. It’s a nice change from ice storms and snow.
Here’s a little description of what each hexagon means (start in the middle, move to the red hexagon and move clockwise):
Day 134: Went to see the movie Black Panther — so good!
Day 135: Celebrated Monday with a glass of wine in front of the fireplace at our local winery.
Day 136: Cracking down on my exercise routine for my bikini body.
Day 137: Hubby had jury duty.
Day 138: Spent the night catching up on my hexagons.
Day 139: Had a high schooler job shadow me today. Felt great teaching another about the industry.
Day 140: Threw myself into a new book and couldn’t put it down!
I’ll update my hexagon progress every week or two! And I’ll be using the hashtag #lindsayhexies29 on Instagram to share pictures.
Thanks for joining me for “happy hour,”
