I’m now more than 150 hexagons into this project! I think I should start assembly soon, so if you have any great ideas for what to do with my hexagons, send me your ideas! As part of celebrating a year in my life, I’m making a hexagon to describe each day! (You can read more about this project here.)
Here’s a little description of what each hexagon means (start in the middle, move to the sunny hexagon and move clockwise):
Day 141: Celebrated a friend’s baby shower with a brunch! She had an adorable baby girl a few week later!
Day 142: Finally had a sunny day! This winter has been too long.
Day 143: We had an offer accepted on a house! We’re incredible excited!
Day 144: Finished my Modern Log Cabin quilt! (See details here.)
Day 145: Mexican dinner with a friend!
Day 146: So great to wake up to birds chirping in the morning.
Day 147: First burger grill-out of the season!
Here’s a little description of what each hexagon means (start in the middle, move to the blue hexagon and move clockwise):
Day 148: More nice weather — we’re starting to see signs of spring!
Day 149: Feels like I filled out a million forms for the house today. So much paperwork!
Day 150: Please. Need. Coffee.
Day 151: Got to babysit the cute cat upstairs!
Day 152: Home inspection today. All went well!
Day 153: Can’t get enough shut eye this week! Home buying stress is taking over!
Day 154: Celebrated a friend’s birthday at the restaurant Magnolia!
I’ll update my hexagon progress every week or two! And I’ll be using the hashtag #lindsayhexies29 on Instagram to share pictures.
Thanks for joining me for “happy hour,”
Lindsay

I have a big fabric stash, and reach out to my sewing buddies for specific themed prints if I don’t have what I’m looking for!
