No-Sew Fabric Bookmark

I love reading just as much as I love sewing! I’m combining my hobbies this entire year by making a bookmark a month (with a free pattern, of course!) and sharing my reading list! You can find my reading list at the end of the blog! This month, I used scraps I couldn’t bear to part with to make a bookmark!

  • 1.5×4″ strips of fabric
  • Paper clips

Assemble the Bookmark:

1. Fold each fabric strip in half lengthwise. (I pressed the fabric for a crisp finish.)

2. Fold the fabric strip in half widthwise.

3. Slip a paper clip onto the folded center of each fabric strip. (Make sure the paper clip’s doubled-up end is facing out.)

4. Tie a knot in the center of the fabric strip to hold it in place.

Note: These fabric bookmarks will eventually fray. No problem! Just switch it out for another scrap of fabric!

And here’s my reading list for December!

Thanks for joining me for “happy hour”,

What books are you reading now? I’m always on the lookout for more to add to my reading list!
